By installing the extension or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension and discontinue use.
Omniscient AI Fact Checker is a Chrome browser extension that analyses text content on web pages by sending it to three AI models (OpenAI ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, and Google Gemini) and returning fact-check verdicts with web-sourced citations. The Service includes:
To use the Service, you must sign in with a Google account. By signing in, you authorise us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google for the purpose of creating and identifying your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Where a Pro subscription tier is offered, it provides unlimited or enhanced access to the Service for a defined period (monthly or annual). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future renewals; the subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
AI models can make mistakes. Always verify important claims through primary sources before acting on or sharing any verdict produced by the Service.
The Service, including its interface, branding, and underlying code, is the intellectual property of MSJ News & Tokenised.News. The AI models used are the intellectual property of their respective providers (OpenAI, Perplexity AI, Google). You retain ownership of any content you submit for analysis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MSJ News & Tokenised.News shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated verdicts, loss of data, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We aim to provide continuous availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control (including third-party AI provider outages).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a manner that harms other users or the platform. On termination, unused credits may be forfeited in cases of breach.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal proceedings.
