Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how refunds and cancellations are handled for purchases made through Omniscient AI Fact Checker, operated by MSJ News & Tokenised.News.
Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase. By completing a payment, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Overview of Purchasable Products

2. Credit Purchases
General Policy: Credit purchases are non-refundable once the credits have been applied to your account and used to perform fact-checks.
Specifically:
- Used credits โ Credits that have been consumed to perform checks are non-refundable under any circumstances, as AI API costs are incurred at the time of the check.
- Unused credits (technical failure) โ If credits were charged to your account but no fact-check result was returned due to a server or AI provider error, we will restore the credits to your account within 5 business days upon request. Contact us with your account email and transaction details.
- Unused credits (change of mind) โ Refunds for unused credits purchased in error may be considered at our discretion within 7 days of the purchase, provided fewer than 20% of the purchased credits have been used. Approved refunds will be returned in USDT to the originating wallet address.
- Promotional / Coupon Credits โ Credits awarded via promotional coupons or grants are non-refundable and have no cash value.
3. Pro Subscription โ Cancellation
Cancellation is always available. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from within the extension settings or by contacting us.
- Monthly subscriptions: Cancelling stops the next renewal. The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are provided for the remaining days.
- Lifetime subscriptions: Lifetime Pro purchases are non-refundable after the access has been activated on your account.
- Cancellation within 48 hours: If you cancel a new monthly subscription within 48 hours of purchase and have not used the Pro benefits, you may request a full refund by contacting us at the address below.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or report a billing issue, please contact us with the following information:
- Your account email address (Google sign-in email)
- The transaction hash or payment reference (for USDT payments on Polygon)
- The nature of the issue and what you are requesting
- The date of the transaction

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3โ5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7โ10 business days back to the original payment wallet.
5. Technical Issues and Service Failures
If the Service is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to a fault on our side (excluding third-party AI provider outages), we will issue a proportionate credit adjustment to affected accounts automatically or upon request.
We are not liable for failures caused by third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Perplexity AI, Google). In such cases, we will attempt to restore credits consumed during failed requests.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
Because payments are made in USDT on the Polygon blockchain, standard bank chargebacks do not apply. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you believe a payment was made in error or as a result of fraud, please contact us directly before taking any action, and we will investigate promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
