The Hub-and-Spoke Architecture
Choose a central "hub" page for each major topic (e.g., "The Complete Guide to AI Fact-Checking"). Write 10–20 "spoke" articles covering specific sub-questions. Each spoke links back to the hub, and the hub links forward to each spoke. This creates a dense web of semantic relationships that both Google and LLM retrieval systems interpret as topical depth.
Anchor Text Specificity

When to Add New Spokes
Add a new spoke article whenever: a user query appears frequently that your existing cluster doesn't answer; a new development in your topic area creates a distinct sub-question; or your hub page has grown beyond 3,000 words and can be split into a hub plus two spokes. Continuously expanding clusters maintain LLMO freshness signals and reward domains that sustain publishing cadence.
